About me

After my psychology studies at the University of Zurich and Geneva, I started a doctorate on the topic of "Public perception of nutritional hazards". After my PhD, I worked for several years as a scientific project manager. I applied my research knowledge and collected operational business experience.

In 2015 I followed my long-held wish to become a psychotherapist. I started further training at the Akademie für Verhaltenstherapie und Methodenintegration (AIM). From 2015-17 I was employed as a training psychotherapist at the Cantonal Ambulatory Clinic in Liestal and from 2017-2020 I worked as a psychologist at the Ambulance for Behavioural Therapy (VTA) at the University Psychiatric Clinics in Basel. In June 2019 I became a federally approved psychotherapist. In November 2020 I began to work in my private practice in Liestal. In July 2023, I completed an eight-month training course as a therapist for mindfulness-based nature therapy (PAN) which qualified me for psychotherapeutic work in nature.

I live in Baselland. In my free time, I like to roam in every weather the forests and hills of the surrounding area. I live in a bilingual household together with my Irish husband and our two boys (born 2009 and 2011).
